Have you tried it out yet? Most of the time, in questions like this, try before you ask. Or you can search for the sma file and remove them yourself.

Angry apple, lol

Well you can do one of two things:

1) This one was already suggested. You can actually try to block adverts by using the swear replacement.

or

2) Since you actually have the AMXX file, it means that the plugin was released somehow, which means it was released under GPL (to my understanding, it has to be released under GPL) and you can then ask the plugin creator to give you the SMA file (which if the plugin is released under GPL, he HAS to give it to you).

Option 2 is under the assumption that the plugin was released publicly like on a website or forum, and therefore released under GPL.

I'm sure one of the more knowledgeable members of this forum can explain this better then I can.

You can always decompile. Anyways, i have seen one plugin that was released under GPL. (Hide n Seek) That has ads on it.

Meh, advertisements should never be written into a plugin, unless that plugins SOLE purpose is to advertise, in which case it should have the ability to modify what is being advertised. I think that was one of the issues with a plugin that was unapproved recently, along with that making modifications on an already made plugin then releasing as "private" doesn't really count as a new plugin ;) lol
