Okay. I've download and install the latest stable version 1.4.10. All is set and configured properly. The problem is bans just kick the user. Still the ban missing. The ban i've tries is set on steam id without ip.

That's the log. The guy is friend to me and he's not a cheater just for the test.

jab , the same on our server...

We can "ban" players via the CP and they will kicked from the server
but they still can join...

With "sm plugin list" we will get this message

"<Error> "SourceBans" (1.4.10) by SourceBans Development Team"
"Load Errors: SourceBans: Error detected in plugin startup (see error logs)"

But no logs are written to our log folder...

Maybe someone can help us ???

You say that there are no errors in the /addons/sourcemod/logs folder?

And have both of you checked MySQL username, password, allowed host etc. Does admins get loaded from Sourcebans?

Yes of course , we don´t install sourcebans the first time

ok i got it.

1.Make sure all game folders and files have the permissions from the user (NOT root) , who start the gameserver
2.Open the Database.cfg and enter the path to mysql.sock in the "host" value

EXAMPLE:

"host" "/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock" //<<< to find the path to mysqld.sock open the /etc/mysql/my.cnf or ask your gameserver hoster
"user" "YourBDUsername"
"pass" "YourDBPw"

3.restart your gameserver...
4.Done

If the IP from the MySQL Server doesn't work, use this solution. But sometimes this solution will not work, because the gameserver is running in a chroot jail.^^
