  • This plugin forces players to not have the ability to cross the middle of the map. This plugin relieves admins of the duty of spamming "No Rushing" and slaying people. The maps it is enabled on are defined by writing them in the config file.

CVARs:
  • NR_enabled - Toggle the plugin
    • (1=on 0=off) (Default: 1)
  • NR_fence - Toggle the "fence" or "force field" looking thing
    • (1=on 0=off) (Default: 1)
  • NR_twopeople - Toggle allowing when 2 people are left they can cross mid (to knife etc.)
    • (1=on 0=off) (Default: 1)
  • NR_checktime - How often the plugin checks if the player crosses the line
    • (Default: Every 2.0 Seconds)
  • NR_redrawtime - How often the plugin redraws the middle line
    • (Default: Every 15.0 Seconds)
  • NR_fencecolor - The color of the middle lines
    • (Default: green)
  • NR_fencealpha - How transparent the fence is
    • (0=invisible 255=solid) (Default: 200)
  • NR_punishment - How to punish middle crossers
    • (1=slay 2=push them back) (Default: 1)

NR_fencecolor colors:
  • Red
  • Green
  • Blue
  • Yellow
  • Orange
  • Pink
  • Indigo
  • White
  • Random (each line in the fence is a random color)

Note: Adjusting NR_redrawtime & NR_checktime to lower amounts will cause this plugin to use more server resources, and adjusting them to higher amounts will cause this plugin to use less resources.

Note #2: The fence divides the map evenly in half however it may not be EXACTLY down the middle, it may be slanted as you can see in the aim_map_usp picture.

Nice work, have a few suggestions:

1. Allow cross-over if only 1 person is left on a team.

2. Add the option to include a warning message that displays with or instead of the fence (hard to see through it).

3. When disabling the plugin using the cvar it doesn't seem to check if it is disabled on map change, the plugin was still in effect despite having nr_enabled set to 0 however the fence would not show up regardless of nr_fence.

4. Plugin seems to still "run" on a non aim_ or awp_ map. When there are only 2 people left over it tells them that they can now cross over, despite it being a non aim or awp map like fy_iceworld.

5. Perhaps have a warning or have the fence drawn when someone gets close to the boundary?

I love this plugin, it saves my admins the trouble of slaying rushers.

My idé with this is it would be better if all players can do a vote for no rush.

@evil:
-added NR_fencealpha CVAR to allow the fence to be seen through easier.
-fixed the messages being displayed on non-aim/awp maps.
-if you disable the plugin it may take up to 15 seconds for the fence to dissapear.
-explain #3 to me in different words as I do not understand what you mean.

3. When you use nr_enabled "0" and then you change the map, it re-enables itself (although nr_enabled stays "0") and if nr_fence was "0" at the time you disabled the mod, then the next aim or awp map you play on has an invisible kill wall. No matter what nr_fence is set to, there is no fence displayed because nr_enabled is still "0".

Is that better?
