Anyone else use Zwipe like me to host Sourcebans? It seems they went down and I'm wondering if there is anywhere else I can get sourcebans hosted as my webhost doesn't want to unblock the ports for it.

I have an option for sourcebans hosting. Just so I am not looking like I am advertising here there is a link to a post I made at Interwave forums (sourcebans) in the whitelist/blacklist thread

Hello everybody.

SourceBans I have installed on my servers.
And when I try to ban any player who is playing in the server JAIL he is banned from all servers.

But I do not want it to be so.
I just want to get the ban on that server, and not at all.

Could someone help me? Im trying to have the ban protest redirect users to our forums to make the protest to make everything easier for our staff to get the ban protest. I would like it if a user clicked "protest a ban" it would redirect them to our protest form. Ive tried searching through the PHP code of sourcebans to see if i can change where the page goes to but ive come up short on an answer. I don't PHP too well and wondering if someone could help me on this. Thanks

Ok went to that line and found the location of the PHP file and edited that to look like this:
Code:
<?php
header("Location: http://site.org/appeal");
exit;
?>
Tested it and it all works how i would like, but is this the best way to do it?
Thanks

Hi,

I'm having some strange problems with my sourcebans groups.
Basically admins are occasionally losing their admin group and blaming myself saying it doesn't just magically disappear (it turns out it does on some of my servers).

I have a few different groups and they're all working however on some servers (only a couple, not all) I get the following error after rehashing .. (this is my basic admin group I've tried renaming / creating new groups)

Code:
21:48:34 L 08/29/2011 - 21:49:50: [admin-flatfile.smx] Error(s) detected parsing addons\sourcemod\configs\admins.cfg
21:48:34 L 08/29/2011 - 21:49:50: [admin-flatfile.smx]  (line 26) Unknown group "admin"
21:48:34 L 08/29/2011 - 21:49:50: [admin-flatfile.smx]  (line 32) Unknown group "admin"
21:48:34 L 08/29/2011 - 21:49:50: [admin-flatfile.smx]  (line 44) Unknown group "admin"
21:48:34 L 08/29/2011 - 21:49:50: [admin-flatfile.smx]  (line 50) Unknown group "admin"
21:48:34 L 08/29/2011 - 21:49:50: [basecommands.smx] "Console<0><Console><Console>" refreshed the admin cache
The strange thing is that group is found / working on 6 servers and is only giving this error on 2 servers out of the 8 (all using the same database settings, ect)

I've searched around and found other people with this error but no solution posted. Should I post on the interwave forums?
