I know most of us go through license agreements without reading them when installing software, but you should really read this one.

I still can't understand why it's so hard to grasp the concept of delivering the source once you are paid, and charging the buyer for full rights over the source. If your precious binary is worth 100$ then I'm sure there are people willing to pay 500$ for the source, either that or you are overestimating the price greatly.

Simple, just sell your plugin for a value squared and charge for each update, consequently, the idiots will think twice before purchasing to "decompile", moreover, you will earn a profit even if your project is "invaded".

That's why some people make plug-ins for a min of EUR 100 for the easiet one to about a thousand or even more.

I've bought amxx compiled plugins from some of the nazi's on here, And when valve updated shit and the plugins didn't work or broke, The plugin is now trash because nobody can open the amxx file to fix the code. Yet all these coders SUPPORT the plugins, BULLSHIT. Tired of alot of these lil fuckers trying to get money and rip people off, Copy and PASTE QUEENS.

Its not about trusting people. Its the assumed risk that comes with certain decisions. You choose to use closed source plugins, nobody forced you to. I'm sure the thought of plugin breaking would have came to your mind at that time.

We make decisions by weighting the pros and cons. Simple as that.
