The PHPhate is just a meme at this point, people may had a point on PHP's early days (Although I dunno about that, I'm not exactly that old) but I haven't got any problems with it. I'm currently working with PHP with the Laravel framework and it's very comfortable to use.

It links most of my projects together, without installation, supported by almost every device while being simple to understand yet very flexible.

Mostly C (since it was my latest projects on some CU in my University), a bit of Ocaml and Java.

Possibly going to learn some GO, Python (since it's really good for what I've been told many times) and Javascript in these vacations.

Python is great for cross-operating system projects, otherwise it's not that great when compared to higher level languages like C/C++/C# Java etc.

But only for open source programs. Secondly, I also like C++ too

They are completely different languages.

Thanks to Electron, JavaScript is becoming more predominant.
