The only way I can make this work is to remove the above and then load mapcyclefile from the cfg that is being loaded. Otherwise it just continuousely re-loads the first map in the Mon.cfg

ronin, i dont really understand what you've done, but if ya have a working daily map cycle AND cfg or either could you post an example in a zip for me or email [email protected] ? I would greatly appreciate it. As is, when adding this plugin I am having the nextmap change to itself.

Basicly on my server it would always load the CFG portion properly but when it came to the mapcycle it would load the first map in the file and then keep reloading it.

There are 2 basic commands in the plugin:

Config Files:

Map Cycles:

format(workpath, 255, "%s/daily_mapcycles/%s.cfg", custompath, today) set_cvar_string("mapcyclefile", workpath)

So what I did is delete the mapcycle bit since it wouldn't work anyway. Then compiled the plugin and in each daily CFG file added a line that stated mapcyclefile "<day-of-the-week>.txt"

This worked beautifuly.

Ok in addons/amxx/custom/daily_cfgs i have Mon.cfg-Sun.cfg. Within them I have different map cycles.

example:
Mon.cfg has this in it
cs_mice_final
cs_robbery
de_inferno
cs_tibet
cs_militia
de_celtic
de_oldport
cs_office_cz
de_eggfart
de_foption
de_laguna
de_battle_isle2

Do I leave the list of maps in it and add mapcyclefile "<day-of-the-week>.txt" at the top?

Or do I just use mapcyclefile "<day-of-the-week>.txt" (in this case Mon.txt ?) as the only line and add a Mon.txt with the above list of maps in it somewhere? If so where? Here?>> addons/amxx/custom/daily_cfgs

daily_cfgs is for server cfgs

ie to make it automaticly turn on FF for friday

Well Burnzy I would but it doesn't fucking work for me
Even when I hardcoded the paths it wouldn't rotate the maps
I'm not stupid if I can setup WARIII i can install a fucking plugin it just will not work for my server.

So i removed the mapcycle which is useless anyway cause i can load it from the cfgs part which works fine.

Don't get me wrong, i like it. The original you ported worked for me. The new one fucks up.
