The bug you linked to looks related to this "confogl" plugin. Or did I not understand correctly?

On a side note, that closed-source SM plugin is hosted on google code and only commits binary changes, lol.

You may find the Confogl source code here: https://bitbucket.org/ProdigySim/confogl-old/overview.

Non-sense. The source code for the committed lgofnoc.smx is available here: https://github.com/ProdigySim/LGOFNOC/commits/master

All the other included plugins' are also open source.

Are these two plugins still conflicting? If they are then you'll have to describe the problem here.

yes they do....

Problem: Sniper pickup when limit is reached makes your current gun disappear
What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Pick a sniper rifle when someone on your team is already carrying one

The plugin uses give commands they blocked from smac, so the actual gun disappears.

i also contacted the developers from confogl to look if they can do something for the new version.

Ok, the "give" command is blocked here in SMAC. It can be disabled internally only for L4D, but I don't know if that leaves it open to this exploit.

Ideally the confogl plugin should find another method for giving ammo rather than executing a server/client command.

maybe not for l4d2 @all... only when confogl is active the problem occures... for a temporary fix use maybe "l4d_ready_enabled" for deactivate?!

hopefully they will modify the function to get ammunition....

thx anyway

A few useful things. I would like to see them in SMAC.
