[unusual.smx] Can't open unusual_effects.txt file

Constant whenever someone tries to use the effects menu. For some odd reason, my unusual_effects.txt file is empty (downloaded from the main post).

Trying to troubleshoot.

EDIT: Also, you fucked up the spelling of the config file:

Oh yes sorry, I never saw it. I will change his name.

For your problem : or unusual_effects.txt is broken (DL a new one), else you have a permission problem on your server (you need the right to READ and WRITE).

I believe I fixed it. It was perfectly accessible by the server, but the text file was empty (and it was empty when I first DL'd it for some odd reason). A re-download of the text file fixed the issue.

Well, I tried your new version and it crashes on map change after I apply an effect.

For the new TF2 update, if you want the new quality " collector's ", add this line on the 540th line in unusual.sp:

This error appear when you are trying to open unusual_effects.txt. I think you don't have the right to open this file.

Since the update tonight this plugin seems to work but the effects are not showing up.

I'm testing it, and when I'm in third person, effect and new unusual effects work. (Server update)

After last night's update the effects stopped showing up, however the plugin appears to be working normally. You can add and delete effects, you just can't see them. Maybe something else im running is interfering?

Did you update tf2items gamedata after last tf2 update?
