I think it's a bit odd to have 2 separate commands both for playing music, it doesn't really bother me though but i just think it can be a bit confusing for players that are not familiarized with the plugin.

I believe it would be a bit more practical if it worked like !musicinfo does for SMDJ, just my thoughts.

Ill explain how !musicinfo works in SMDJ so you don't have to download and test it.
1) user plays song with !music Song Name
2) as the song is playing, user types !musicinfo witch pulls up the hidden motd window allowing him to adjust the volume.

I like that you are actively maintaining the plugin btw, good job.
A lot of developers just post 1 version and forget about it forever

I did not know that is possible, but I'll check how does SMDJ do that, and probably implement in in next release.

Hey, nice to see you getting into updating your plugin

Still looking forward to allow admin play music for all. I will be keeping an eye on this thread in case you will achieve this working one day.

v1.2

Switched to transitional syntax (-> 1.7 compiler needed. compiled will probably run on older)
Added !musicto command
!musicyt (-> for compatiblity with smdj)
Correct url buffer size, as source engine limits it to 192 bytes (->a limit of max 33 russian characters)
!musicfull command no longer needs music name, brings up currently opened one

Hi, im getting error when trying compile it, to compile im using 1.7.1.
This is the error: music.sp(85) : error 148: cannot assign null to a non-nullable type

Also if its compiled on 1.7.1 will it work with older SM (1.6.0)?

sorry, probably uploaded wrong file, change null to 0 on line 85.

also it will probably work but i havent tested that

both "music" and "musicyt" commands work, but i was hoping "music" would be removed because of SourceMod DJ

It wouldn't really make sense for someone to use both plugins together though.

The user can easily change !music to something else anyway since the source code is available.

Seems like !musicstop isn't working currently in CS:S, the last time I tried it. Also, when I type !musicfull, I get this error in console:

Blocking MOTD URL ''; must begin with 'http://' or 'https://' or be about:blank
