I was wondering how you attach the preserve attributes attribute to custom weapons. Thanks.

Sorry for self-bumping but it probably would have helped if I included a few more details.

I see in the original tf2items mod that you can attach the preserve attributes to an item like so:

Code:
"custom_weapons_v1"
 {
 "*"
  {
  "*"
   {
   "preserve_attributes" "1"

   "x" "x ; x"
   }
 }
}
But in FF2 you change attributes via:

Code:
      "name"           "weapon_class"
      "index"          "weapon_index"
      "attributes"     "x ; x"
I would assume you'd put it within attributes like:

Code:
"attributes"     "preserve_attributes ; 1"
but I don't know for sure and I don't have a way of testing.

Ff2 creates new items for bosses, with out preserving attributes. There is no argument for preserving them in the keyvalue input. If you want a boss to have a given attribute from a weapon, enter it manually.
