Dear sir,
I have tried to edit the HP of the super tanks
as follow:
hSpawnExtraHealth = CreateConVar("st_spawn_extra_health", "8000", "Spawn Tanks receive this many additional hitpoints.",FCVAR_PLUGIN|FCVAR_NOTIFY,true,0. 0,true,100000.0);

but after compiling it and put into the plugin folder
it doesnt seem to be working?

kotecome, You should change the value of this variable in the file SuperTanks.cfg in folder ..\left4dead2\cfg\sourcemod\.

As Grey has mentioned above look for

st_cobalt_extra_health "0"
st_fire_extra_health "0"
st_ghost_extra_health "0"
and so on...

You may find my cfg easier to read compared to the generated one.

I have a question about setting the melee damage on supertanks. (though i still wonder if it is really related to supertanks). the melee damage to normal tanks is consistently 200 per hit but to supertanks it's 1000 and more or something. I've tried to look into the setting of the cfg as well as the sp file but I have not yet found any wrongly configured setting. Could anyone please suggest me a solution to this problem?

You could use this plugin and set melee weapon damage lower

put something like this example in server.cfg (add whatever melee weapon you wish for use)...


l4d_damage_enabled 1
sm_damage_tank_weaponmulti katana 0.2
sm_damage_tank_weaponmulti fireaxe 0.2
sm_damage_tank_weaponmulti crowbar 0.2
sm_damage_tank_weaponmulti machete 0.2


I'm not sure but i think 1.0= 100% damage so .05 should be 50% and so on..
So 0.2 maybe is best setting for you if you decide to use it for less melee damage.

You can use this for other weapons too if required.

Seems to compile albeit with a crapload of errors but doesn't create the .smx, what am I missing?

With this plugin, the "sm_speedplayer" command from the plugin https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=1251446 does not work, maybe some conflict?
