I started seeing this error immediately after the latest TF2 update.

Code:
[SM] Native "ThrowNativeError" reported: Not called from inside a native function
[SM] Displaying call stack trace for plugin "hlxce-sm-api.smx":
[SM]   [0]  Line 313, /home/forums/content/files/4/0/1/7/5/135415.attach::OnGotClientHLXPlayerId()
We have tried to figure out how to fix this and have been unsuccessful. I only have this because gScramble said it was required (I don't know why) however, could this also cause hlstats itself from working?

Update SM, the last TF2 patch changed the steamID format so the SM team had to patch in a fix.

I have already updated SM and this still gives the same error. Can you tell me what exactly it does that requires gScramble to have it?
