How to get more players/traffic?

Can someone tell me some way's to get more players into my server? I have tried advertising in a lot of places.. i also have a clan here is the website http://www.pokemod.us but nothing seems to be working..

Counter-Strike is an ancient game. Also, if running some stupid mod you likely limit your potential audience.

Probably the best way to get people is to already have real people playing in the server. Kind of a catch 22 but there isn't really any other way.

there are tons of cs servers, and tons of ghost servers too (fake redirect servers).
some of them are using slowhacking to catch players, by modifying the client files like .cfg and .res, others are running very nice maps and mods but empty all the time, stupid servers (running de_dust2 24/7) are full all the time, etc.

you want to be a stallion between the zebras ? find a new idea to make a cs server looking as averything else than cs. then I may try to help you.

I always invite friends.
And ask them to invite friends.

Yes, the problem is keeping the players that comes into the server...
I don't know coding that well so i cannot create something new, i'll try something for Counter-Strike Global Offensive but no ideas atm.

Have u ever tryed to boost your servers ?

It's like 10 euro or smth for 1 week , and your servers will get full in no time

Lol, if you just make your server fun to play on people will stay.
If its like all the other servers they wont stay.
make it unique.

Could you link me to something like that, a booster or whatever you mean sir?

& Unique is pretty hard, my server is fun just that the competition is hard that's mostly it.
