I've written the tutorial, only problem is Valve broke the SDK so you have to use a workaround to actually get it working. They are promising to officialy fix it soon, but ill add steps to use the workaround too and should have the tutorial uploaded in a couple of hours.

Thx man, awesome work! But for some reasons it is giving me an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION <assert 1> Error which aborts the recompiling with mdlstudio.bat The soltuions i found with Google didn't work. Any suggestions?

And there is a little mistake in point 12, i guess:
C:\Models\mdldecompiler.qc has to be C:\MdlTmp\mdldecompiler.qc

But besides that, thx for the tutorial and, of course, the update.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; this is one hell of a mod and really gets some attention from our server visitors.

I have a small problem though. For some reason, some people only see:

"Big Red 3D ERROR" skins...

Apparently the skins are downloading so I'm pretty sure I have everything set up right. 99% of players have no problem.

I ask them to leave and rejoin and they say that they have to download stuff again, but still see the same red 3d errors.

Any ideas?

Most players have no trouble at all.

Hm, just a quick question, if i would use the Sin Model Pack, what would be the fourth hostage displayed if no other model pack is installed/preselected?
