If you have the models installed locally and you see a big red "ERROR" where the chopper and VIP are then it could be a server setting. sv_pure 2 will block the custom models (zblock forces sv_pure 2).

as_crisis does not work for me either (can't escape) but as_fleeiraq works fine (for me). There are 2 escape zones; the copper and one of the alleys leading to the copper.

ZBlock is garbage, why are you using it?

I'll look into as_crisis. I only really tested the test map and as_arctic.

zblock is annoying sometimes, no argument there. It does force/limit some server and client variables that let people exploit things and sv_pure 2 keeps people from using material cheats as a wall hack. Zblock also blocks the use of the wait command which on the plus side keeps people from using certain script exploits and on the other hand breaks a lot of eventscripts plugins… Basically you need to decide if you want your server to limit the use of off the shelf cheats/exploits that will never get you VAC banned at the cost of some customization OR have full customization and a lot of cheaters that you have to babysit, spec, kick, ban and ruin your fun or playing time.

When we want to play VIPMOD, I disable zblock in our server.cfg file and then restart the server. We play VIP for a few maps or couple hours and then reset the server. I really wish we could just play VIPMOD without the hassle of zblock but I’d rather have fun then babysit.

EDIT: This is why VALVE needs to include VIP as part of the game!

Good luck getting them to include it as part of the game, many have tried and failed.

As for your ZBlock issue. KAC does more than that. This is completely unrelated to VIPMod.

Installation Instructions Drag and Drop the Base archive into your cstrike folder. Grab the plugin and gamedata from the forums and copy it to their respective directories.

For random person like me coming over here to forums, this doesn't tell jack shit. What is the corresponding directory for plugin.VIPMod.txt?
