So the website of a community I'm part of runs a slightly older version of HLXCE - v1.6.11. Since there are no intermediate versions and updating in 8 steps would be a pain anyway, what are the pre-cautions when using the current full version (v1.6.19) to update? I guess the admin would have to remove these files from the full version before copying:

- hlxce-1.6.19/heatmaps/config.inc.php
- hlxce-1.6.19/scripts/hlstats.conf
- hlxce-1.6.19/scripts/ImportBans/hlstatsxban.cfg
- hlxce-1.6.19/web/config.php

Anything I missed? Remove these four files from the extracted archive, stop hlstats daemon, copy files, start hlstats again? The SM plugin has already been updated and apparently there are no SQL updates necessary any more since v1.6.2?

TBH i was not part of the project until 1.6.17 so i do not know about the updates before then, If i was doing this update i would make a full backup. Then i would do a fresh install of 1.6.19 and import the stats table by hand.

Now that i think about it the updater script should have all the changes in the folder so look at the updater folder to see what was changed.

Is it possible to do that? Reason I ask is that I have a couple of database's that throw up errors when I try to update them, but would really like to bring the installation up to date. Would an import sql through phpmyadmin work?
