hello
how can i set up the vsftp to the steamcmd+hlds folder?

SteamCMD installed to: root/SteamCMD
HLDS: root/SteamCMD/cs

But if i connect to FTP see an empity "pub" directory.. Help me please

add a new user then install SteamCMD and HLDS with that user.

mkdir /home/CSserver/install/SteamCMD
mkdir -p /home/CSserver/server

Better to be structured in the home folder

Don't start with the word "NGINX"
Yes it's simple to create a server with own download-url
1. Install apache , hlds etc
2. put hlds on webdir
3. restrict directory access with htaccess -Indexes
4. restrict addon access with deny all or per extension access [.dll, .ini etc]
5. sv_downloadurl "http://webdir/cstrike"

=)) and when you will put files in server it will have them automaticaly on webdir too since it's the same shared folder, i was making such things when i was having 12.

just add new user

adduser steamcmd

and edit

etc/passwd

edit line

steamcmd /access path/wher is yours/steamcmd/directory

ps.
root directory is no good directory maybe steamcmd/home will be ok
