How to upload models though a .res file?

I did this in de_dust2.res file....


maps/de_dust2.res
mdes\weapons\v_glock18.mdl
models\weapons\p_glock18.mdl
models\weapons\w_glock18.mdl
models\weapons\v_p90.mdl
models\weapons\w_p90.mdl
models\weapons\p_p90.mdl

sound\weapons\p90_cliprelease.wav
sound\weapons\p90_boltpull.wav
sound\weapons\p90_clipout.wav
sound\weapons\p90_draw.wav

Won't donwload though my DS when i connect... any ideas?

.res files are not directly related to AMX Mod X so the best place to post this would be in Off-Topic. However, did you try using "/" instead of "\"?

If those files already exist, they will not be downloaded. Those look like the default soundpaths and such that exist in the .gcf file. Those cannot be re-downloaded automatically (you must manually add the custom sounds, like a soundpack)

In other words, if the file already exists, the server won't make you download them, regardless if they are custom. What you can do is change the folder they are in, and make/get a plugin that can force all players to use your custom content

You obviously did something wrong. Did you even put the custom content in the right folder of the server?
