I updated to the LATEST MM/SM snapshots and now windows l4d1 server runs since 2 hours without a hickup. I hope that fixed it.
EDIT: now running for over 5 hours (16vs), so I guess the latest snapshots did it

Server still crashes randomly with new snapshots
Nothing in error logs. Most crashes on first map
Longest uptime with new snapshots ~1 hour

Damn linux is still broken, i wish the author had posted the source code of all his versions. We could atleast have a clue of what to do now :/.

I dont think that will make any difference, the last time he logged in here was on oct 3, so i think linux is screwed up.

My view is that all source code should be made available! If not the plugin/module ect shouldn't be here!

only I dont get more then 4 player coop with
sv_maxplayers 8
sv_force_unreserved" to "1"

using SM 1.4.0 and MM 1.8.5 on l4d1
