I'm using the version of the 1st page, and I already used the Munch version as well, and I always have errors in some maps. For example, the ( c1m3_mall ) map of the Dead Center campaign does this.

Does anyone know what could be wrong?

According to Silver, mall is one of the few maps where there are too many entities and that causes a problem. I get that as well sometimes.

Try this:

l4d_hats_random "1"
l4d_hats_save "1"

To see his hat:
!sm_hatview , type in chat

When you enter the game, in the introduction your hat does not appear, but you can be sure, it is there.

Unfortunately even changing to 64 models. And by testing several different models, some work but many are left with a huge Black Box instead of hats.
Especially (c1m3_mall) map of the Dead Center campaign among other custom maps as well.

I try, players like a lot but it's impossible to use with this error.

That’s because the plugin precaches all the models at once. Maps with a lot of entities like (c1m3_mall) will have trouble loading the model because it is hitting the model limit.

The solution to this problem is to precache the model only when it is being used.

Hello this is my old version 1.14 (25-Jun-2017) modification, try it.
I do not remember exactly what I changed there...
There is a change of charger bug, PreCache, disable AutoExecConfig...

This error happens, because there is no "m_TimeForceExternalView" property on L4D1, this one is used to simulate an external view after selecting the hat.

You just need to add a L4D2 GameEngine check on the ExternalView call.

Also, you can prevent this error by setting the l4d_hats_change cvar to "0" on L4D1.
