Hi. Is this game atill supported or no?https://steamdb.info/app/10/history/ here you can see that there are many new updates. HLDS have new updates also. So i want to know what is happening? Why they update the game, after cs 1.6 is in their black catalog (games with stopped support). Or the new developers in Valve works on black catalog games just to show their skills and prove themselves? Explain me, please.

My understanding is that people in Valve have a bit of freedom for what they want to work on. Perhaps they recently hired new people who are interested in maintaining some of the classics.

But that's pure speculation.

Black catalog? omg that is to much for me

The VALVe just fixed their games that can make holes in Steam / Game library.
What is the problem with that? Nothing new will happen like in CS:S some years ago.

And where is the "Black Catalog" of one of the game that have most sales $$$??

I don't even know what a black catalog is or why the user thinks CS1.6 is part of it. That's the part that really confuses me.

Valve's list of old games on their site(tho it's called back not black).

I'm still confused. Isn't a back catalog simply everything produced before today? Why would its inclusion in a "back catalog" somehow mean that it won't be supported?
