i have a huge problem...

I installed sourcebans, added my server to sourcebans and edited the databases.cfg how sourcebans Interface told me

This is the error output from the server console:

I asked me a lot of times, why use sourcebans these credentials ?!

It's the ip the mysql server sees the gameserver connecting from, not the ip the gameserver tries to connect to. You need to allow connections from your sourcebans user for the ip/hostname shown in the error, like the FAQ tells you.

By the way: DON'T USE THE ROOT USER EVER!

I'm not sure if this was the same as mine but if you have CPanel you need to add that IP mentioned to the Access List. That'll fix it right up.

what "host" in database.cfg do i have to use? The IP from webspace or IP from gameserver or what?

The ip from the database server. Usually it's the same ip as your webspace.

Okey now its crazy...
i got 2 servers,

on the 1. server it works fine, when i ban per sourcebans or ingame. Im banned and it works..

if i ban per sourcebans, there is "player found and got kicked" and "not found". I was on the server, where SOURCEBANS DIDNT WORK and got kicked! but i can rejoin and i am not banned.. its the same sourcebans.cfg but server id "1" -> "2"

when i have 2 servers, is the database.cfg the same on both servers?
