Yes, having a digital library is a nice thing to have but I heard Steam was worst than Origin back then.

That was not what I experienced at all. Everything was running quite nice for me all the years I have used it.

How can you see when you joined and what kind of badges you have?

Just found it. I joined may 20 2004 and I have the 9 year badge, gonna get 10 year next year. Also get collection agent because I own 78 games on it.

some people said that steam was very bad before..

they made accounts in 2004, then quit, and now they are back, playing CS:GO

I think steam before didn't give all the services it does now

Good to know. Well, it varies also the pain of having to run an application in the background in order to play a game is what many didn't like.

I registered mine in 2003 and didn't really start using it until 2008.
