hi.
some ppl on the steam forums think this should be interesting to try.

basicly: it alouds the hunter to push the survivor a few meters when ounce someone.

crappy drawn that show how it works.

another crappy one that shows how it works on elevated estructures.

but if it's done inreally high places (no mercy roof for example) the survivor should still have the hability to hang from ledges (if they enter in contact with the ledge)

this video shows that this is already in game, but it's no easy to do.

Nice video. Is it viable? I mean last patching might have screwed it?

As i understood i actually should press JUMP button after pounce? Is it right?

EDIT: In some other videos it is clarified that its working in single player only.

You mean bunny hopping or pushing?

Bunny hopping is relatively easy compared to pushing, and can be done on servers. Pushing is much harder and much more precise, especially once you add in server lag and moving players, it could arguably be impossible to perform in an actual game. As far as the mechanics working, yes they do work in multiplayer, just don't expect to be able to do it.

bunny hopping is you pounce and press jump as you touch the ground, but before you land on the ground and are crouching. iirc if you don't do anything, you pushed it too soon, if you jump straight up you pushed it too late. Pushing is more or less just a bunny hop with exact timing, distance, and spacing. you do jump before you hit the survivor.

The part that isn't pointed out that the hardest thing about pushing is you need to have an exact distance between you and the survivor to push when you start the pounce. Judging and pouncing at the exact distance is not easy against anything, even at a stationary target.
