How to get sounds like Godlike, First Blood, etc

I saw plugins like ultimate sounds and I'm wondering now how did they made those sounds, or how to get sounds from games, like
Okay, good to go! -> COD:MW

Or sound from WoW for earning achievement, or something...

Taken from games' folders where the sound files are kept, extracted if needed, converted if needed.

but only what i see are some stupid file formats, not like in cs

cs in an old game, it uses the basic format: wave.
try to search a free sound editor or converter to convert ~~stupid~~ unknown sounds.
