Hi guys,

I was a Allied Modders guest member and I'm using these mods of Amxx.
with those mods, tutorials and helps i maked my own server in United Arab Emirates.

So, on this post i have some problem with my server, now i explain it for you.

My server information is this :



Internet Speed : [Downlaod] : 4 MB - [Upload] : 0.46 MBPS [Etisalat 4MB]
Counter Strike Version : 2006 Edition
My PC Ram : 2 GigaBytes
Running with : HLDS

My server install up very fantastic and perfectly. All of things are pretty cool but the problem caused when some one makes high ping (lag).
after of that all of pings being between 250 and 1200. all players else me.
my ping is always between 3 to 10.

I asked my friends about the problem they helped me good, for example good server.cfg config for 4 MB speed - HL Booster and some other things like HPK.

But i saw in other servers like my server that 18 players can be play with ping with 50 or 70 something between those.

If anyone can help me i will thank him or them very much.

Maybe they have a better connection then you, or maybe they have a better computer then you do... these are just some possibility's, what i think your trying to ask is, "why are other servers better then mine..?"

Server.cfg config for 4 MB speed is totally wrong.

HLDS considers only Upload SPEED & NOT Download Speed.

Based on your upload speed, you can host with 10-12 Players MAX.
And use following settings (in Server.cfg):

sv_minrate 0 sv_maxrate 5700 sv_minupdaterate 4 sv_maxupdaterate 19

If it still LAGGS, then try with only AMXX default plugins.
