In my opinion it is unnecessary to transfer these four files in the majority of cases, recently highlighted by the fact my new host disallows executable files completely. This doesn't present a problem for me personally, but it's possibly a good idea to (optionally?) omit these files. This could be extended to the entire scripting folder, but that depends on how strongly you believe in source code distribution I guess.

Just putting it out there.. Doesn't bother me either way.

I second this.. I have had to install locally, remove all of the .exe files, and upload it all manually because of this.

Lee: This should be fixed in revision 3288. Thanks!
