i installed metamod as per the wiki directions, and i got the unknown command meta error. can anyone help?

the server is a dedicated linux from gameservers, but my pc is windows.

If that happens it was not installed correctly.


Double check to make sure that the files are in the correct place and that you have the .vdf set up properly.

i'm pretty sure i did it correctly. i just reinstalled it by following the wiki again. are there better install instructions somewhere?

Post your .vdf file here and tell me what game you are trying to get this to work for.

i'm running css on my gameserver. is there any lines i need to add in server.cfg or mani or anything?

The file might need spacing.

try this

Also, make sure that file is where it should be.
