Hello,

just wanted to tell that the latest CS:S update breaks SourceMM plugin, means it doesn't load any more. Perhaps you might take a look.

CSS updated the game server interface from ServerGameDLL003.

If that's the only problem, you should start seeing updated plugins posted soon.

They overwrote the gameinfo.txt file. My MM wasn't loading up, so I checked it, and lo and behold, way to go Valve. I love having files overwritten with no backups Just gotta add the GameBin line back in there and MM will load. But other plugins (such as CSSDM ) still dont load, due to the error Bailopan mentioned before... hope it's fixed soon; DM was REALLY popular.

Metamod 1.1 will not load on an updated DOD:S server. I will try to supply as much information as I can.

When enabling Metamod in the gameinfo.txt file and starting the server it you lose all plugins you were currently running.

Here is how I have my gameinfo.txt file set:

Game |gameinfo_path|addons/metamod/bin
Game |gameinfo_path|.
Game dod
Game hl2
I am only running BeetlesModBetaW and attempting to implement LDukes latest Fakeclient (which has been fixed to run on DOD:S)

When the server comes up, it does run but plugins show as 0 and you can not connect to it. You load DOD:S and if you have the server in your favorites it does not show up. Then if you try and use the Connect <ip> you get the following message:

Day of Defeat: Source
Map: dod_flash
Players: 1 / 24
Build 2566
Server Number 1
COM_CheckGameDirectory: game directories don't match (dod / bin)
Netchannel: failed processing message svc_ServerInfo.

Any thoughts?

Is this due to what Bailopan indicated above or is this another issue?

Some more info that may be interesting on the latest valve update.

I run a counter strike source dedicated server in console mode on AMD 64, but windows 2003 server.

1) Running JUST mms and no plugins.
mms runs but the server is way less stable crashing every 10 minutes or so where it used to run a day or so without crashing.

2) Now for THE REALLY WEIRD ONE.
Running just mms no plugins, it crashes immediately when I switch to ANY custom map -as in non standard cs source map!-
ANY!

Weird.

Got to love the updates.
