my personal opinion without to be an advertisement:

dropbox is easier to be managed. it may already exist from a previous installation, so you only need to merge it with the new installation (in you reinstall your OS)
google drive seems to be harder: you can't merge and old folder from a previous OS' installation. you can't also move or delete the folder (was only possible (for me) with a virtual OS, aka live OS).
