Is it possible to force a client to download a player model without using the precache_model function?

Would this be a stupid question? I just want to know if there's another way.

I think this may work.

PHP Code:
precache_generic szFile[] )

Also, whats the point in not using precache_model to precache a model?

I run a TSRP server, the precache is at it's limit - however I want player models to be downloaded, so it wouldn't matter if the server doesn't precache the models, because the server will never actually use the models. (IF you know what I mean)

Theres a limit to precaching models? I never knew that... is this limit global or just the individual plugin? If its just the individual plugin then you can just create another plugin solely to precache.
