Hello, got a small problem maybe someone can give me a fix!

S_LoadSound: Couldn't load /QuakeSounds/_period.wav

What i tried:
Renaming another sound to _period but didnt work.
If i remove quakesounds plugin, no more spam in console !
Any ideas?

No, just increase the required number of kills for the sound that is played too often, so it will play less often. Adding delays between A.Q.S. events will still make the gameplay be annoying. Adding cooldowns will make the gameplay be annoying too. For example, I think that after killing my next victim, the game server will play "Multi Kill", but I do the kill and there is no sound.

An idea. Maybe your game server is hosted on Linux and you did a spelling mistake. In Linux, "a" is not "A", while comparing files by name. You can have "a.wav" and "A.wav" in the same folder on Linux, so be careful the sound names to be exact on the hard disk and in the INI configuration file.

Hello, I am new here. Can I ask you is there any possibility to change the default Quake sounds in this plugin? I tried just to replace the .wav file in the Quake Sounds folder with my own, but when I start the server and the game, the new sound just doesn't play. I tried to rename a file and renamed the same file in the .ini file but still doesn't work. Every sound I replace just doesn't play. Is it forbidden to replace sounds or I am doing smth. wrong. Is there any particular parameters for the files? Thanks in advance.

As far as i know, not any .wav file can be played in cs 1.6. There are settings that should meet the requirments, but don't ask me what they are :p

Thanks a lot!
I tried with this parameters and it worked:
Bit resolution: 8-Bit
Sampling rate: 8000 Hz
Audio channels: mono
But the quality is not very good. Later I will try with those from above.

/edit:
I found that these are the optimal settings for the files:
Bit resolution: 16 Bit
Sampling rate: 22050 Hz
Audio channels: mono

This plugin is very easy to be set up and it has a settings file.

Installation

Upload quakesounds.ini to /addons/amxmodx/configs/

You Only Need qs_manstanding.zip Pack If Your Game Server Is Not Re-Spawning Players!
If Your Game Server Is Running CS: DM (Death Match), Do Not Install qs_manstanding.zip!

This Pack Contains A Feature Called THE LAST MAN STANDING And It's Fired When A Player Remains

This plugin is so engaging and fun but I noticed a lot of stuttering on my (Windows) TFC server. In my log, I see the following error:

I found a Github repo by a user named themreza with a collection of updated/modified plugins. I compiled his version of QuakeSounds and no longer have any errors or stuttering! I've uploaded the source and amxx file.

My many thanks to him.
