Wondering if you're going to manage temporary bans and show names of admins who banned someone from a server - like SourceBans works.

Temporary bans are not managed for now to prevent database traffic and size, but I could add this as an option.

For the names of the admins who made the ban, I can't do that because ServerBans is too low-level. Doing this would break the universality of this plugin by creating dependencies with SourceMod or Mani Admin Plugin. Moreover, many bans are made by the console, so how should I know who made the ban ?

To answer your PM about LANs, I think that even in a LAN every player has a local ip address, so if you ban that address it should work.

I could add it as an option, since this will take a huge amount of space in the database. But yes, I could add it in a future release.

Yes, just make a copy of your banned_user.cfg and rename it "bans.cfg" for instance. Then run your server with ServerBans installed and run "exec bans.cfg" in the server console. That's it.

I've got to say Jmgr, you have once more done it again. I don't know anything about SQL databases yet I was able to implement this with no issues. Thank you again for another fine script.

I really don't know why, but this Plugin blocked every attempts to list bans or issue ban commands, so I had to delete it and reboot Server o.O

Also, perhaps Jmgr should write explanations for each complaint his Plugin could print.

That could be the case if you didn't configure the database correctly.
In that case the bans would be blocked and you would have some error messages saying that the database is not available, could you post them here ?. Or at leat some of them ?

Do you have a MySQL server ?
Is it online ?
Have you executed the content of "tables.sql" on the database ?
Did you enter the database parameters in the sba.cfg file in the cfg directory ?
