hi,

out of curiosity, how many people/slots can you guys handle with that cpu?!

i have 7 servers right now and max out at 80-85 people in total, is that good or bad or normal?
with max out i mean var is getting bad, average load above 4-4.5 (linux top command)!

- game: csgo (128tick)
- os: debian8

- ogp agent
- tuned-adm profile latency-performance
- mysql running aswell on that machine

sounds reasonable
For more slots disabled the latency-performance profile (you should still get a pretty decent performance)

but that would basically mean 20slots per core

should a 4ghz cpu not be able to handle a 30slots server for 1core?

lets say 1 core mysql then 3core x30slots = 90 people..sometimes i am in trouble at even 75-80 people with average load and var

noone here with that cpu?

you should try running 4 servers instead of 7 and see results

You can remove it or stop/disable the service.

systemctl stop tuned

hmm i did like that

PHP Code:
tuned-adm off
will see tomorrow if that makes a big difference

and u sure 4 instead 7 servers will help? if the server is empty there is not much load (0.7% cpu)
when i have 30people on it is about 100-110%

i mean sure if i have 7 servers with 12 people = 84 it will be more load than 4 servers with 21 people = 84 i guess but is it that much difference?
