hi,
is it possible to play sound while players are downloading maps/materials etc.?
also would help if its possible to open hidden motd while on loading screen

You could try opening an MOTD window that plays the music automatically for all clients on 'OnMapEnd'. I remember music still playing for me back when I was hosting servers and was using the FragRadio plugin.

yes i got that working but i mean a player first time connecting

I doubt it but 1st thing I'd try is to try opening an MOTD when they first connect Pre.

Only place I've ever seen a MOTD on a loading screen is GMod. So to agree, I doubt you can send any information to a client before full connect.

As far as i understood Onclientconnect can only be used for rejecting the connection. i think there is no way to do this thanks for your replies but i'll use the map end one at least it would help
