Title.
-I have all the necessary ports forwarded
-lan only unticked
-have a static ip
-firewall is not the problem
-I have the appropriate steam keys
-friends are still not able to view the server.
I have no idea what could be causing this, but when the server is running, and I do the open port tester, I get the closed result. Help would be appreciated!

- i read from a different post that you can add +clientport 27015 on the startup command, but i have no i idea where that is. i put it in every cfg that i could think of that affected the start but to no avail.

Seems like you did something wrong at the port forwarding part. Can you tell us which kind of router you have?

As long as he has a IPv4 address (and it's even static, as he mentioned), it shouldn't matter. I assume that he's hosting the server on his PC, which is connected either with WiFi or ethernet.

Btw, he used a site to check if the server port is open, and the site told him that the port is closed. I don't know if you meant that. If so, then nevermind
