You're probably running something that uses custom gamedata (or something else broken like SDKHooks TraceAttack hook) along with TF2Items, so if TF2Items isn't present it's not loading and therefore not crashing.
According to the server owner we have already downloaded the tip and been running that, what do we need to download to fix the issue this guy posted?
