That's only the tracker.
The repository is actually hosted by googlecode.com.

Having an issue with this able to ban a player but they stay connected and their name does not show up to kick in the admin menu.

Once they leave though and try to come back they show up as banned.
List is showing them banned.

Why is the webpanel showing "Error Connecting (ip:port)" for my server, when it's actually online?
Most likely your webhost's firewall is blocking incoming connections. Contact your webhost and ask them to allow incoming UDP connections from your server's port (usually 27015).

If there are admin groups loaded, but no admins, click on "Edit Server Access" on the adminlist and check if the admin has the right rights and recheck if the ServerID in sourcebans.cfg is correct.

Just to clearify again: The Webpanel -> Gameserver connection doesn't have ANYTHING to do with the Gameserver -> Database connection! If you see any errors on the page, you don't have to check your gameserver's configuration.

Da_Man: Check if your mysql user isn't restricted to connections frim Host 'localhost'. If you're useing phpmyadmin, check go edit the sourcebans user and check the 'Host' column. You should have a '%' in there!
Also you may want to remove the 'www.' from the host in databases.cfg for instance.
I am having this issue but I do not believe it is from a host firewall as I am on a dedicated box. Before I bother my host is there any way to ensure that I am not blocking it on my box directly? I turned off windows firewall but it may be possible that it is being blocked somewhere else in the OS. I am using winserver 03 btw.

For reference here is my sb install: http://www.ibisgaming.com/sourcebans/

Ensure that on your webserver, OUTGOING TCP and UDP 27015 (or whatever port your gameserver is on) are both turned on. The site's FAQ words it a little strangely, I sat there forever before realizing the wording meant that the UDP port needs to be outgoing rather than incoming on the webserver. Additionally, ensure your game server provider opens the incoming TCP and UDP

Edit: Didn't read your host. You may have turned off firewall, but is windows advanced firewall/firewall rules still in effect? Also, what roles do you have installed on the controller right now?

Ah my web server is on a different box and so it is possible that that is where the issue lies as my game box unless something in windows is wacky should not be blocking anything.

So if the above is correct I need to have my web server open tcp and udp 27015?

I was just checking out your sourcebans site and went on to look at the zwipe offer of free hosting. At present you are advertising a site that has no way of signing up. The links to sign for a sourcebans hosting account lead nowhere.
