At the moment, players can not tell, when banned, if it's a temp ban or a permanent ban.

The current phrase is: You have been banned by this server, check {1} for more info

Is it possible to include the: duration, reason, banned by, etc in this phrase?

(S)he can just go to the site that is being mentioned and read it there?

The option is there, the user's laziness doesn't mean that the user "can not", it is "will not", and is not your fault.

It doesn't really help to put it in there, if the user is also too lazy to read what's standing on the screen.


All that being said, it is definitely possible, but will require fiddling with the source code. What SB version do you use?

There are some strings in some games that is limited to ~256 bytes, which might not be much. I'm not 100% aware if the kick reason is one of those..

It's definitely possible and actually something I've wanted to do for a while, just on the bottom of my list of priorities.

Yes, SourceBans 2 prints this information to the client console because the kick reason had a low character limit. No idea if this has changed in the past few years.
