Hi all ;)

I am a bit new to all this plugin issue, so i try to describe my problem ;)

I want to use this plugin on our server but without any web application. So i did the follow: I copied the l4d_stats.smx to the plugin folder and i entered a l4dstats entry in the database.cfg in the cfg folder. And i added the l4d_stats.txt in the gamedata folder, even not sure if thats important ;)

Problem is now, that it does not work, console is not knowing any sm_rank commands, neither sm_rankmenu or anything else. sm plugins info l4d_stats says its running and working, so what did i wrong? ;) Old version for l4d1 works, means i installed first the version l4d coop, als you recommended in the first sentence and than tried ur version.

When trying the old version i get the console error massage:

what does this mean? We where 2 players and he is saying Client index 0...

of the IP loctation in database.. I do not know where too look....

only another thing I saw.... when I open sm_admin I see a option for deleting stats.... is this possible to delete it from other admins/flags?

Most of the rank commands do not work from the server console. Client 0 is the server console.

You misunderstood me. I did no such thing that recommend installing the original plugin. I recommended reading the install instructions from the original plugin thread. Did you run install.php from the webstats? And did you actually install the Custom Player Stats plugin? What does your server say when you ask for a list of running plugins from it?

If you installed the location info to the same database the stats tables are at, do a query:

select count(*) from ip2country;

My DB returns this: 120967 (Your DB should return something similar to that, but not necessarily the exact same value.)

ok my failure, didnt understand right, that i HAVE to install the web apllication altough i dont need it but it creats the mysql tables, that does make sense ;).

So plugin is running and working, rankmenu is going but still one problem: The game does not know any of your commands??

Delete l4dstats.cfg and reload the plugin. Those errors come from old convar names that were created by the original plugin.

There was a dump from an empty DB, which you could've used instead of executing the PHP installer.

Yeah, i didnt know what to do actually with this dump file, im sorry. So i took the long road. But everything is working now and i can only be grateful for the help.

when I install the install.php I see that number also on the bottom of the page... so that why i find it strange... but ok i will find out...

2: the admin_root I didnt see that thx...

3: everything work fine.. only when I wanna use the medkit penalty... so when a player useis it.. it goes to 90 percent and I want it to be 98 or 97 but for some reason I cannot get it to work :/
which I need to change... uploaded the .cfg file mabye you can have a look..

Search this at your cfg:

// Score reduction for all Survivor earned points for each used Medkit (Formula: Score = NormalPoints * (1 - MedkitsUsed * MedkitPenalty))

l4d_stats_medkitpenalty "0.1"

If you want to change penalty to 1%, you have to change the l4d_stats_medkitpenalty value to "0.01". I don't know if it's a penalty at all? You see, getting 10 points score for something and reducing it by 1 percent, the score is lowered to 9.9 and usually the modified score is rounded to the closest -> in this case back to 10.

If you wan't you can disable the score reduction by setting l4d_stats_medkitpenalty "0".
