So, i would like people to post here things that could improve the FPS of the players on a zombie plague server

Like, low w poly maps, remove night vision, small resolution textures on models etc

Reduce the amount of ressources needed by removing plugins.

For the most part you can't really control that part since all the variables that affect performance are entirely client side. I doubt that removing plugins would make a big impact on the clients, unless it's one of those spammy plugins that throws tons of chat messages, HUD overlays, etc on the clients' screens (or modifies a map by adding graphical entities, like snowflakes, and such).

Make sure your server has sufficient bandwidth and CPU power to run at full power? I don't really have any ideas.

He is talking about the players, not the server.

If you have sufficient bandwidth and CPU power then server lag won't cause client lag. That's what I was getting at.

Your clients won't have a great experience if your server is on a shitty pentium processor on dialup or DSL internet. A player with an i7-4790k, 2 SLI GTX 980 and 144 Hz monitor won't have that good of an experience on a server like that (despite that build being able to plow BF4 with ease).
