I can report that the Uber Upgrades plugin is still working for me. I'm using tf2attributes, tf2attributes_ubup, tf2items_manager, and tf2itemsinfo.

I used the plugin from the original post and modified it a bit to remove the chat spam, dramatically reduce the amount of cash given, and changed it to allow players to keep their upgrades between rounds.

Yes, !qbuy is the quick buy command. It is supported in version 0.9.4 of the plugin which is available in the original post.

The commands don't work. I slapped them into cvars and the values are still default. Any help on this?

Bad News: You are correct. The cvars don't work, and have never worked as far as I can tell.

Good News: With a lot of effort you can modify the source to change the values to your liking.

Check if the plugin hooks to the cvars, since that's the only (pre-1.7) way to update cvar values.
