Metamod was running fine on server up until last night. Every time i try to start l4d on a rented server from gameservers.com linux server.the server gives errors and will not start. If I take away the metamod.vdf the server starts just fine. I have tried the newest virsion of metamod as well as old. I have changed the metamod.vdf and know it is in the correct place because it worked before? Is anyone else having this issue if so is there a fix for it?

Hi, Has anyone been able to get metamod working on L4D since the sacrafice update came out. L4D2 is working but the L4D server will not start with metamod enabled. If anyone has please post what ver and if you had to do any thing special to get it to work. Thanks.

have you tried 1.9.0-hg731 from http://www.metamodsource.net/mmsdrop/1.9/ it works on windows for me,dunno about linux

Windows server here. I'm new when it comes to metamod and sourcemod. I left the metamod.vdf file in the addons folder. I went to delete the server.dll in the metamod/bins folder and the server would not crash. I can see the metamod.vdf points to that server.dl. I assume that's the culprit?

I have tried several different builds of metamod with no success.

Could be, by pointing the VDF to a different or missing binary, metamod won't load, hence the server starts up.

Same issues here, latest, stable or devel release of MM and no go on L4D.
