I'm looking to start a TF2 multimod server (ie. jailbreak, surf, etc.)
but when i look at server list i don't see too many servers playing these type of maps...
why??

I don't know man, I ran a great multimod server on css back in the day with a good friend of mine and it was crazy popular. It's sad to see the genre go.

yea there are still multi mod in csgo
but i'm talking bout tf2

it's pretty much the same? probably lesser map creators in tf2 (minigames etc)

A lot of custom servers have either died or have had their player numbers cut quite a bit over the last year. I think a combination of the matchmaking and Overwatch probably contributed to it.

Not saying that it's entirely dead, but there just isn't as big of an apatite for these kinds of servers like there once was.
