I did everything correctly, but still music isn't playing at end!
Everything set correctly:
Niklavs‎ : !res_refresh
[AbNeR RES] SOUNDS: 1 sounds loaded from "sound/abner"
+
changed map, restart server.
+
music downloads from fastdl

Someone please help!

Maybe you have musicsouns volume on 0 in game settings.
Or mp3 file not correct
try 128 kb/s

Good day, the plugin does not work properly, it only plays for dead players, when the round ends, what could be wrong?

i have a Problem all Sounds with 192kb/s doesnt work

i need exatlcy 128 kb/s ???

I believe it has no problem if it is 192kb/s, in any case I do the test with 128 kb/s.

See if it's in the extension .mp3, I believe it only works with it.

Could anyone tell me how to configure it? Where to add .mp3 files? Any requirements for the .mp3 files? Or make some kind of text document explaining better?

Seems to be a lot of doubts about this mod, more specifically to the sound format for CS-GO

Audio format needed for CS-GO:

MP3 - (I use Constant Stereo)
44100Hz
128kb

**All audios you find on the internet will hardly be at this config.
If it is higher than 44100Hz -> It wont play in-game
If it is lower than 44100Hz -> Might play, but audio will sound horrible.
If it is anything else than 128kb it wont play.

CS-GO can reproduce WAV files, but Abner-Res plugin does not detect WAV files, so it needs to be MP3.

Let's say you found a audio file (like a music), and you want to shorten it to 6 - 8 second and upload to CS-GO end round sounds...

1. Download and install Audacity
2. Go to Edit -> Preferences -> Quality -> Change to 44100Hz and 16bit than press OK
3. Upload the audio to Audacity and Cut it as you'd like to
4. Export the audio as MP3 Constant Stereo
(Make sure to name the audio as CT-Audio 1,2,3.. or TR-Audio 1,2,3.., this way you know if you want to play them on CT or TR by the end of the round.)

The mp3 file should now be 44100Hz/128kb -> Exact format needed for CS GO

To place the audio correctly in the folder, i recommend doing as I did:

1. Create a folder on your desktop named CSGO EndMusic
2. Inside the folder, create 2 separate folders -> CT SIDE / TR SIDE
3. Send audios you export and want to play when CT win on CT SIDE folder, for TR do the same.

4. Open your server folder -> /csgo/sound
5. Inside the sound archive create a new folder called resmusic

6. Copy CT SIDE / TR SIDE folders to -> /csgo/sound/resmusic

7. Open abner_res.cfg at /csgo/cfg/sourcemod

8. I recommend changing volume to 0.45 - 0.50, because it is very loud...

// Default sound volume.
// -
// Default: "0.75"
res_default_volume "0.45"


I had this configured on a Retake server, so i had to extend the end round time or the music would cut. If your audio is 8 seconds, you should set up mp_round_restart_delay 8
