That is super strange the issue must be on mine and my teammates end... is anyone else here having issues watching demos?

Demos can, by nature be pretty flacky. Realistically all the plugins that handle STV recordings are using the exact same method (issue the tv_record command) so it is most likely something either on an individual client or it just went Wonky.

When your looking at demos, I've had good luck disabling multi-core rendering, then loading the demo, pausing it and starting it at say tick 2000 or something to get the initial load to work.

There really isn;t anything within a plugin we can do to make this more stable.

I just was watching a sigma demo review HERE where in the beggining he stated that the demo crashed after the 2nd round. Is it possible that a TF2 update made demos super strange?

Added a cvar:

"sm_demo_directory" = "war1/" ( def. "" )
- Demo directory name relative to the 'tf' folder. Full path can be used too

This will place the files in tf/war1/ instead of "tf" folder.

Remember to set a / behind the value on the sm_demo_directory.

You can also use the full path, i just gave permissions from the webserver to a folder it can read and dump the file directly in there. So you dont need to copy/move the files over when done. Its instant.
Attached Files
File Type: sp Get Plugin or Get Source (matchrecorder.sp - 472 views - 4.3 KB)

What config? cant be much clearer than that. It says:

Demo directory name relative to the 'tf' folder. Full path can be used too.

So its the place where it stored the demo's that is all.

I understand what the cvar does and you are just rephrasing what was posted before. What I asked was: What config do I insert the cvar into to I don't have to manually reset it every time?

eg. Can I put it in sourcemod.cfg or does the plugin have it's own config file? I have looked through everything and don't any config for this plugin.

Just insert it in the normal server.cfg config or whatever file you use. I assume you do use some sort of server.cfg as startup.
