Is there any way to make it come up in a web browser on the desktop, instead of the motd? I know nothing about coding plugins, so if it can be done, then I'll need the laymans terms

No, this can't be done.

We used to use this to go to a webpage when auto-redirected to steam://friends/joinchat/10xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Then the user could go to their overlay and they would be in our chatroom. Obviously this is now disabled.

Is there any other way of making this easier for people to join our chatroom?

That is an excellent idea Raver, I was just looking into getting mySQL Adverts, testing it out tonight. Being able to control webshortcuts would be great for server events/announcements, etc.

I added this plugin and it's config file, but the commands do not work. We are of course using the latest version of sourcemod. I'd appreciate any form of help, thanks.
