Anyone know how to do this? My swear filter doesnt work in it because it doesnt hook those commands apparently (I know its still working because if you join with a bad word in your name, it still will change your name).

Any ideas? Or how can I find out what they are called if they changed? Thanks!

open you config.cfg and look for

Code:
bind <keyforchat>
so you know what command you use for chatting...

btw it is

say_start normal chat
say_start2 team chat
say_start3 squad chat

Insurgency breaks standard SDK compatibility with its say system.

What does that mean? You can't hook it with SourceMod because of this, or you have to do something special? I got it to where I can have the console produce text on the screens of players, but I can't get it to pick up the player's text.

You can (probably) hook it with SourceMod but not in the way every other mod lets you.

I haven't investigated further yet so I can't say anything more.

Turns out Say_start is just a messagemode type wrapper.
