I got a little prob... The fakeclients are showing up as bots instead of spectaters.. any ideas on that?

The answer is a few posts up. Valve updated the source engine query on the client so that bots don't show as players, and they also reduce the available number of slots on the server.

So... The million dollar question still remains! is it possible to update the fakeclients plugin to 'cheat' the in game browser, and make it appear that there are players on a server?

Working fine, but I noticed when viewing the server with HLSW, that after every fakeclient name there's a box. See pic. Any ideas?

nothing to do with it.

You will just have to find other means of getting traffic to your server.....

You need to encode your fakeclients.cfg file in UTF-8

It's as bug with the processing of the fakeclients_name command. Since fakeclients are bots, the Valve updates for the server browser render this version of fakeclients obsolete. (Servers with fakeclients no longer show up as having players connected and the number of available slots is decreased by the number of bots.)

With that update in mind, you're better off not having the plugin installed, and I won't be releasing a fix for the name issue because there's no point any more.
